It was a great day for C&C, in Texas the high was only 88 in August, unbelievable. Unfortunately I didn't set my camera to the raw format, so I didn't have a lot of control when manipulating them. But I still think they turned out good anyway, so enjoy.
The 458S might be one of my favorite Ferrari's. It looks and sounds awesome. You could feel the vibrations while it was at idle! Love it.
Didn't expect to see the XKRS-GT, looked very cool in person. I saw it leave to, the guy downshifted it crackled, easily one of the best sounding V8's around.
Heritage edition GT, first time I've seen it in these colors. Still my favorite car!
This Mach had an 03 Cobra engine, looked amazing.
New M4
If anyone watches Fast and Loud you might notice someone in this picture. This is also probably the cleanest GT350 ever.
And my favorite Jaguar!
And here's the rest of the album:
EDIT: The picture quality is really bad after posting them here, anyway to fix that?

Last time i saw the original racecar in a picture, this six was in the right side of the car

You might like it in black, I don't think the stripes are helping out there. Usually I don't like white and red combo, but I thought it worked really well.

Still my favorite car too! :D

Looks the like the new GT's had them on the left side. Interesting.

I didn't either

Can't wait to see it in person

I remember Mclaren saying that were struggling to meet demand for the 650s and me being skeptical because of all the praise the 458 got in comparison tests but holy shit the 650s is by far and away the most common exotic car, I have ever seen. I don't know why I'm surprised though for £200k, I would expect a car with no compromises as well.

It looks way better in person. It just *works*. It's so sexy.

I normally like my Ferraris red, but my god, that Speciale looks so amazing in white with the red and black stripes. Great pictures.

Believe the new ones came blank all around

There were 3 in that same show. Two of them looked identical, just different interior colors.

You and me both. As much as I liked the 430 Scud, it makes me happy to see that it's successor is even more badass.

From what I've read the 458S manages to be hard core yet you could use it as a DD. Very impressive.
Have you seen the recent list prices for the Scud? They shot up! Ugh...

These wheels are perfect! The black F-type that showed up to our C&C had the standard wheels I guess.

Ya, they are. They come with the 12K carbon ceramics. I wasn't sold on them when first revealed but now I love them.

I'm sure everyone whose got a 458S probably doesn't need to DD it, they probably have a regular 458 or FF for that, lol
And I haven't really checked up on Scud values recently, kind of surprised they're going up now, especially since the 458S's are being delivered. You'd think people would be getting rid of them to make room for their new Speciales, and they'd be worth less because they aren't "the new thing."
![]() 08/04/2014 at 15:49 |

Haha true. They probably have a 458 spider, FF, F12, or all of them.
But a true badass DDs a 458s!
I think the Scud values are going up because they had gone down so much already and the 458S is expensive. People are probably buying the Scud as an investment
Not long ago you could buy a Scud for not much more than the standard F430. Not anymore...

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they go down again, at least for a little while. Maybe once the 458's replacement comes out.

This is what I think will happen - all rare sports cars, including the Scud and GT3 will continue to go up as long as the general car collector market is going up.
If the bubble bursts then everything will lose some value.
What nobody knows is when the bubble is going to burst.
I don't think the 458's replacement will directly affect the value of the Scud or 458S because people will want the last N/A special edition cars. But if the overall market goes through a correction then all bets are off. Collector cars could drop 15-35% for a 2-6 years before they start going up again.
I've been reading about prior collector car market bubbles. There have been some nasty corrections. But the one constant (so far) is that the truly desirable cars always rebound eventually. There were a lot of people who bought rare Ferraris from the 60s in the late 80s who sold them a few years later and took huge losses. They all screwed up. Had they just held on to the cars then they would have eventually made massive profits.

I'll take the Viper T/A please. BTW I watch Fast & Loud but I don't recognize any of those people. Who am I supposed to be seeing?
![]() 08/04/2014 at 16:55 |

Good point about the future desirability of the N/A cars, those will definitely be sought after once everything ends up being a Turbo hybrid, which will happen. (It's just a matter of when...)
And yup, those guys really got screwed. Not too long ago, 330 GT values were incredibly low, and now, they sell in the 300K range... Sucks for those guys that sold too soon.

Take a look at the hood. You'll see his head just poking out.
![]() 08/04/2014 at 18:13 |

Yeah from what I've read the 458 replacement will be turbo with no hybrid tech. The car that replaces that might have some hybrid tech. The F12 replacement will probably stay N/A but might have some hybrid tech. And yeah eventually everything will probably be both turbo and hybrid.
